Scholarships

The Organizing Committee will award several scholarships. There will be 10 scholarships awarded, each prized student will receive  a financial support totaling 750 Euro.

Applications will be decided on by the Organizing Committee until July 31, 2014.

Description

Students (undergraduate / PhDs) are eligible for a Travel Grant to ICPP 2014. These grants are intended to support students who will be presenting oral or poster presentations.

Eligibility and requirements

To be eligible, you must:

1. ■Be registered at a university and full-time enrolled in an undergraduate or PhD degree, at the time of the application.
   

2. ■Have been accepted to present an oral/poster presentation.
   

3. ■Have been accepted to present an oral/poster presentation.
   

The application for a Travel Grant must be submitted by email to and consists of the following elements:

1. ■A statement from the university confirming your student status.
   

2. ■Recommendation from the faculty supervisor or graduate chair as to how the conference participation is directly relevant to your research or graduate studies.
   

3. ■Copy of the confirmation of presentation, clearly listing your name as the presenter.

Grant description

The grant support consists of the following components

1. ■Free registration fee to the full conference, including social programme and conference dinner.
   

2. ■500 Euros for general support to the attendance.

The grant DOES NOT include: reimbursement of travel, accommodation, subsistence or any other expenses in general. You are advised to estimate your budget in advance of deciding to attend the conference. The registration fee is not redeemable in cash, in full or in part.
