Paper submission

The Elsevier Editorial System is now ready for article submission.

The maximum paper lenght is:

  • 6 pages for Invited papers
  • 4 pages to all other contributions

The submission website is located at https://ees.elsevier.com/fusengdes/.

Elsevier recommends and fully supports that you submit your article in LaTeX format. If you are familiar with LaTeX and want to submit your article in this format, download the elsarticle LaTeX class from http://www.elsevier.com/wps/find/authorsview.authors/latex and use it to prepare your manuscript.

Although Elsevier allows you to submit your paper in a variety of word processing packages, currently there is no Microsoft Word template available from Elsevier to help you preparing your manuscript. We are doing our best in collaboration with Elsevier to provide you such a template as soon as possible.

To help you start working and in particular to help you estimating the final length of your paper we provide you a draft template that you can download here. This template has been approved by Elsevier and the authors may submit the paper in the two columns format.

To start the submission process please go to the submission website and register yourself. If you are already registered at Elsevier, login and follow the system instructions. Please, be sure to read the Fusion Engineering and Design Guide for Authors and information therein. This guide is located in the Authors section (on the right) of the Fusion Engineering and Design website: http://www.elsevier.com/wps/find/journaldescription.cws_home/505650/description#description.

To ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for publication in this Fusion Engineering and Design Special Issue it is very important that you select Fusion Technology 2010 SI when you reach the “Article Type” step in the submission.

If you have any question about the Elsevier Submission System please send an email to authorsupport@elsevier.com or just click on “Contact Us” when logged in the system.
