Welcome Reception The welcome reception is at 18:30 on Monday, June 18th, at Parque Municipal.

Conference Dinner The conference dinner is at 20:00 on Wednesday June 20th, in the Carlton Park Hotel. The price of the conference dinner is 45 Euros. The registration for the dinner should be made on the Registration Form or at the conference secretariat, until 12:00 on Monday June 18th.

Conference Tour The conference tour is on Wednesday June 20th, starting at 14:00 from the Madeira Tecnopolo and ending at about 18:30 at the hotels. The conference tour is free for the participants and accompanying persons who are registered in the conference.

Meals in the Madeira Tecnopolo Buffet lunches will be served in the Madeira Tecnopolo, with the following menus: -   18/06 (Monday) ... "Espada" black scabard fish filet with fried banana or roasted pork Assorted salads, sauted potatoes, rice and assorted vegetables Desserts: Home made pudings and fruit salad or fruits of the season - 19/06 (Tuesday) ... Tuna fish steaks with fried maizze or Stroganoff (beef, pork or turkey) Assorted salads, sauted potatoes, rice and assorted vegetables Desserts: Home made pudings and fruit salad or fruits of the season - 20/06 (Wednesday) ... Roasted seabass filets portuguese style or Roasted leg of lamb with mint sauce Assorted salads, sauted potatoes, rice and assorted vegetables Desserts: Home made pudings and fruit salad or fruits of the season - 21/06 (Thursday) ... Grilled calamars or Marinated roasted beef with roasted potatoes Assorted salads, sauted potatoes, rice and assorted vegetables Desserts: Home made pudings and fruit salad or fruits of the season - 22/06 (Friday) ... Golden "Espada fish" filet with tartar sauce or Roasted chicken Assorted salads, fried potatoes, rice and assorted vegetables Desserts: Home made pudings and fruit salad or fruits of the season Drinks included: Juices, soft drinks, mineralwater, beer and coffee. The price of these lunches is 2400 Escudos (approx. 12 Euros) including the main dish (meat or fish), assorted salads, desserts and drinks. The participants shall buy the lunches in advance (until 17.00 of the day before) at the conference secretariat. Light meals (including sanduiches, drinks, fruit and desserts) are also avaiable at the bar of Madeira Tecnopolo. There is at least one restaurant at a walking distance from the Madeira Tecnopolo.

Final Registration The participants can made the final registration on the EPS-2001 at the conference secretariat, which is open: -   From 14:00 to 20:00 on Sunday June 17th, in the room Niemeyer of the Carlton Park Hotel - During the conference, from Monday to Friday, in the hall of the Congress Center of Madeira Tecnopolo.

	Musical Show The Government of Madeira offers a Musical Show on Tuesday June 19th at 20:00, in the Casino Congress Center, located close to the Carlton Park Hotel. The programme of the show includes:
		- Mandolin Orchestra - Clarinet Ensemble - Dance Group - Accordion Orchestra - Traditional Madeiran String Instruments - Band with Dance Group
	The presentation of this performance will be the responsibility of the Theatre Group of the Co-ordinating Office of Artistic Education. Free tickets will be given at the Conference Secretary from request of the participants (please note the number of the tickets is limited).

	Transportation The LOC provides free transport for all participants between the Hotels and Madeira Tecnopolo, in the morning and in the evening.
		-	From the Hotels to the Madeira Tecnopolo: The buses will leave the hotels at 7.45 on Monday and at 8.00 on Tuesday to Friday.
		-	From the Madeira Tecnopolo: Day Hour To Monday 18:15 Parque Municipal Tuesday 18:10 Hotels Thursday 20:00 Friday 16:30
		-	During the day public transports are available from and to the city center. The price of each trip is 250 Escudos (1.25 Euros). A weekly ticket costs 2900 Escudos (14.5 Euros) for an unlimited number of travels. Audio-visual equipment The lecture hall is equipped with two overhead projectors and one computer-projector (computer not available). Requests for any other means of presentation should be directed to the scientific secretary in E-mail in due time before the conference.
