On the Computation of Tokamak Equilibria with Negative Core Toroidal Current

Resumo
A numerical scheme is presented which is able to solve the Grad-Shafranov (GS) equation in tokamak plasmas with toroidal current reversal for input proles that are not restricted to any particularly chosen models. Its exibility is subsequently tested, computing a GS equilibrium with o-axis negative toroidal current density strong enough to generate two concentric current-reversal surfaces.
