Oral Contributions

To ensure a flawless flow transition between presentations the oral contributions should be provided, exclusively, on PowerPoint 97-2003(.ppt) or PDF formats. All the presentations will use the auditorium computer.

The oral contribution shall not exceed the following durations:

- OPENING : 35 minutes including question (30+5)
- STANDARD ORAL : 17 min + 3 minutes questions
- Mini ORAL POSTER : 2:30 min - 3 slides max - no question
- EXTENDED ORAL (upon invitation) 27 min + 3 minutes questions
Presentations should be made using PPT07 or PDF and uploaded upon your arrival at the publication desk

Posters and mini-orals

The posters should be A0 size and portrait oriented (840 mm x 1180
mm or 33" x 46").

In the IEEE Real Time conference series we value the poster contributions highly and make a strong effort to help the participants to find the posters that are in their areas of interest.

We do this by  giving all poster presenters the opportunity to make a short (2 minutes)  mini oral plenary presentation in a dedicated session before the customary poster defense. Here the idea is not to cram as much information as possible in that short time given but to advertise and  create interest for their poster using two or three slides.

The posters  are also allowed to stay up during the entire conference to maximize their exposure to the participants. For the same reason, we also
encourage you to submit a pdf version of your poster to be stored in the agenda pages.

The service to print posters (for a reasonable cost) is available on the vicinity of the conference site (for more information on prices an location please check here).
