Our research unit gathers more than 180 collaborators, from researchers to PhD and MSc students, supported by an excellent administrative and technical team.
As part of Instituto Superior Técnico, we ensure that our teams have all the required support and conditions to achieve their goals, in a work environment fostering innovation and encouraging knowledge exchange and communication among our collaborators.
Our Organizational Culture
IPFN's objectives involve primarily the knowledge development and transfer on nuclear fusion, plasmas and lasers. Therefore, we assume talent engagement and innovative thinking as a priority, which is reflected in our programmes and work development, continuously resulting in important contributions to science and technology.
