“Microwave plasma enabled synthesis of free standing carbon nanostructures at atmospheric pressure conditions” by N. Bundaleska et al (with the Plasma Engineering Laboratory of N-PRiME; E. Tatarova, PI) has been selected by the Physical Chemistry Chemical Physics (PCCP) journal as a HOT manuscript in 2018.

Bruno Gonçalves took office as president of IPFN following the formal nomination by the IST president Arlindo Oliveira.
The first review meeting of the PEGASUS project took place on December 14 at IST.
On 11th December, with 86% of the votes, Bruno Gonçalves was reelected as the current IPFN president.
