Applications open for the APPLAuSE PhD Programme
APPLAuSE – Advanced Programme in Plasma Science and Engineering – is a Doctoral Programme promoted by the Institute for Plasmas and Nuclear Fusion, supported by the Portuguese Foundation for Science and Technology and hosted by Instituto Superior Técnico, University of Lisbon.Examples of dissertation topics include: plasma physics, plasma technologies, nuclear fusion, fusion engineering, fusion theory and modeling, high intensity lasers, laser plasma interaction, high-performance computing, relativistic astrophysics, novel radiation sources, space physics, environmental plasmas, kinetics in plasmas and afterglows, modeling of plasma sources, quantum plasmas.
Up to eleven fellowships are available. Applications are open between May 13 and June 28, 2019.
