IPFN researcher seconded to ITER Organization

IPFN researcher Paulo Abreu was selected through an international call and will work on the for development of the Integrated Modelling and Analysis Suite (IMAS). Paulo will join two other researchers from IPFN already seconded to ITER, in what is the continuation of a very fruitful collaboration that resulted already in seven researchers being seconded to ITER.

These secondments follow the signature on 2017 of a Memorandum of Understanding on Scientific and Technical Cooperation between IST and ITER Organization. This agreement allows making available, on a temporary basis, suitably qualified and experienced staff with hands-on experience and further skills development in different technical and non-technical fields of expertise to the ITER Organization within the framework of the ITER Project Associate (IPA) Scheme.

Congratulations to Paulo!
