Tiago Silva awarded a Fulbright Grant
Tiago Silva, member of N-PRiME/IPFN and FCT researcher, was awarded a Fulbright Grant for PhD Faculty and Researchers, with a duration of 3 months, to undertake a research project at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), USA.
The project will explore the potential of plasma-based technologies for CO2 conversion, which can play a key role in human exploration beyond Earth, by enabling the production of fuel and breathable oxygen on Mars. The work will be developed in collaboration with the Department of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AeroAstro) of MIT.
