IPFN researchers awarded the ULisboa/CGD Scientific Prize
The 2022 University of Lisbon/Caixa Geral de Depósitos Scientific Prize, in the scientific area of Physics and Materials, was awarded to Jorge Vieira, Professor in the Physics Department of IST and researcher at the Lasers and Plasmas Group (GoLP) of IPFN.
The honourable mention in the same area was awarded to Vasco Guerra, also Professor in the Physics Department and researcher in the Reactive Plasma Modeling and Engineering (NPRiME) group at IPFN.
This award, created by the University of Lisbon in collaboration with Caixa Geral de Depósitos, aims to reward scientific research activity and encourage the practice of publishing in international journals of recognized quality.
