ENSAM students visit IPFN
Last Thursday April 10, IPFN welcomed a group of 24 visitors from École Nationale Supérieure des Arts et Métiers (ENSAM), in France. The group was composed of 20 students and 4 accompanying staff, and their visit was part of a study trip to Lisbon.
The visit began with a presentation by IST Professor and IPFN Researcher Horácio Fernandes, who introduced the students to the research carried out at the institute. Afterwards, the group visited ISTTOK, IPFN’s tokamak, where they learned more about plasma physics and the fundamentals of nuclear fusion.
